This interactive walk through the natural habitats of the New Zealand falcon offers an inside look at the efforts being made to ensure the falcon’s survival. The falcon is New Zealand’s only native bird of prey and one of only four forest falcons in the world. On this walk, you will have the opportunity to observe, learn, and contribute to the conservation of this beloved bird. Bold and beautiful, endemic and endangered, a day spent with the New Zealand falcon is a day to remember.

  • Intensity: Easy – Undulating landscape with easy to moderate hill climbs and ascents; some steep terrain; day consists of several short walks on mostly good quality paths; hillwalking experience not essential
